NICK SPANSWICK
EVENTS AND DESIGN
Because it was a destination wedding weekend, the invitation needed to contain a lot of information about the various events and activities, so I designed the invitation as a series of postcards, reminiscent of the postcards sent from Europe at the turn of the century.
The wedding ceremony was held in the romantic gardens of the Four Seasons, in Florence.

Long tables had arches of flowers and ivy with miniature hanging chandeliers, creating a romantic garden ambiance.

Because the wedding ceremony would take place in mid August, I designed table number cards as fans, using artwork from the postcards to create a lovely personalised souvenir of the wedding.

'Tuscan wedding'
This bride and groom were keen wine enthusiasts who wanted to celebrate their wedding where they met while wine tasting in Tuscany.
As it was to be a wedding weekend, the invitation needed to contain a lot of information about the various events and activities, so I designed the invitation as a series of postcards, reminiscent of the cards sent from Europe at the turn of the century. The 'postcards' were sent out to guests in an album, complete with Florence-style marbling flysheets and their logo stamped on the front.
