Jordanian wedding celebration

This family wanted to host a wedding celebration for their niece in their garden. Because she was going to have her real wedding ceremony in Rome, this was planned as a local celebration so that they could invite all the family friends who wouldn't be able to attend the ceremony in Rome.  As such, I was free to create a party atmosphere with an emphasis on dancing, drinking and fun.

Seen here: me standing in the huge garden that would be the venue for the event.

My visual for the event.

Calculations for the 35m diameter gazebo.

A view of the gazebo and central bar area.

We decided to ship all the furniture from Istanbul so I created visuals showing the seating arrangement designs.  I wanted furniture that played with different heights and incorporated different seating styles (some lounge, some more formal) so that everybody had a seat they were comfortable with and they all had a good view of the central dance area.

Detail of the mirrored tables.

My hand-drawn menus and printed napkins created especially for the event.

Aerial view of the set up.

My design for the buffet - I wanted the caterers to only use pink, purple and fuchsia tones in their food and decor.

The amazing buffet - catering by Kempinski Amman.
