Seaside Palace Wedding

When we asked this lovely couple to describe their dream wedding for us, they told us they wanted an elegant and sophisticated place-style decor, so we were a little surprised and intrigued when they booked their venue; they'd chosen a lovely but very remote beach a short drive from Six Senses Kaplankaya Hotel on the Aegean coast.

Surrounded by palm trees, wild grasses, sand and sea, we took our inspiration from beach-side palaces and Spanish haciendas to create a wedding that felt royal in size and scale but combined enough natural elements to suit its beach-side location.

Guests first met for an elegant wedding ceremony on the beach where the couple said yes as the waves lapped behind them, before passing to the wedding reception where they dined and danced between palace-sized standing lanterns, stone-scrubbed wrought-iron archways and rustic wooden shutters.
